Course Pathways

Please note: the following pathways are suggestions only. Students may take units in any order and at any time provided they conform to course rules and meet all necessary pre and co requisites (consult handbook).

The pathways below are based on students enrolling in overloads to complete their courses. However, the time limit for straight degrees is 10 years and the time limit for combined courses is 12 years. Students should contact the Faculty if they require an extension.

Combined Degrees

The standard load per year for a combined degree course is 48 points.

Students wishing to overload and complete in five years (six years for Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Health Science), should follow the Combined Courses pathways below. Please note that students should check their eligibility to overload with each faculty.

Students who do not wish to overload may proceed through the combined course at their own pace, having regard to the course rules, time limits and prerequisites that apply.  The faculty offices concerned can be contacted for advice on possible course structures.
